My 100th POST!!!!

And for my 100th post I will tell you all about sweet Hallie!! She is 4 months old today!! We went to the doctor for immunizations and of course a height and weight check
14 lbs --60th percentile
23.75 in -- 75th percentile
40 cm -- 25th percentile (head circumference)

At this age Adalie was
13 lbs 10.5 oz -- 50th percentile
25.5 in -- 85th percentile
40.9 cm -- 50th percentile

Their weight has been very similar to this point. Adalie was a little taller which may be why Hallie looks a lot more chubbier than Adalie did. Well Hallie is of course my sweet baby still....nothing has changed. She likes to try to sit up...and I don't mean all by herself, but when she is sitting on the couch leaning back she does a sit up so she can see what is going on. Today right after I put her in the swing I looked back and saw her in this position. Its kind of hard to tell from the picture (sorry it is from my camera phone). She sat there for a long time and it was so funny and cute. If she lost her balance she would come right back to sitting up. I love her to death!!

Round & Round For 45 Minutes!!

While driving home from my mom's house today Adalie wanted me to sing "round and round" with her the whole way!! (Round and round is "The wheels on the bus song") Anyways, here is how it went....

Adalie: Mom, what does Santa say?
Me: I don't know, what does Santa say?
Adalie: Santa says ho ho ho.
Me: Okay, ready?
Adalie: Yes!
Me: Okay.....the Santas on the bus say ho ho ho, ho ho ho, ho ho ho, the Santas on the bus say ho ho ho all through the town.

This went on the entire way home which ranged from:
lights say--blink
Marcus says--Ariel
Carter says--cartoons
Christmas says--ho ho ho
Jojo says--la la la
stores say--buy buy buy
Jenny says-- hi hi hi
Joe says--woo woo woo
Grandma Sally says--cute cute cute
Adalie says -- ha ha ha
etc.....
I love her!

What Boobs Do You Want?

So after reading the title you might not be sure that you want to read more....but then again you might. So I am blogging about this because it was so funny and I don't want to forget it.....a couple of days ago I came down the stairs after waking up (of course Adalie was up and ready to go for the day, except for her hair, because she loves to put "new clothes" on when she wakes up) and right away Adalie told me to go up stair and get dressed. I told her no (give me a break I just woke up and needed a second to breath before I got ready for the day) and she was so mad. I told her to wait for a minute and be patient and she was not having it. So in order to calm her down I told her I wanted to wear one of her shirts. She got excited and ran into her room and got me a shirt. We decided it was not going to fit so she got the idea of going up into my room and getting my clothes for me. Well she had been up there for awhile which made me a little nervous so I went to the bottom of the stairs and said, "Adalie where are my clothes?" She came to the top of the stair with three of my bras and said, "Mom which boobs do you wanna wear?" I didn't even know she knew that word. She usually refers to them as my "drinks".

Also, that day she was saying lots of funny things and I forgot to write them down (due to my internet being down) but I do remember one of them, as I was leaving to go to class she said, "Bye cute mom with a little bum." What a sweetheart!!!

I want to also add about Hallie. She is still the sweetest little baby and I love her to death!!! I always tell Nate he needs to take her from me because I am going to squeeze her too hard! I love playing with her and holding her because she has the biggest smile!! I love her smile especially since she has a cute little dimple on her right cheek. She is so nice and makes out crazy lives much easier than they could be since she just goes with the flow with little complaining. Adalie loves her to death too although recently we have noticed a little jealousy going on. Adalie likes attention and at times when we are giving it to Hallie she tells us to, "put baby Hallie down on the couch." Overall though it is not bad. Adalie just needs her special time too!

What I Have To Say About This....

Okay well I am sure many people who follow Oprah might be sick of hearing about this.....I just want to say that I am so sad!! I have waited all my life to be a stay at home mom so that I could watch Oprah. I am sure some of you are laughing....but it's true! I remember my mom watching her when I would come home from school in the 3rd and 4th grade. I would sit and listen and watch while my mom folded clothes, but I would always miss half of the episode since school was not over when it started. At that time in my life I remember thinking I can't wait till I get to stay home and watch her from the beginning. Since I was in school FOREVER I never thought I would get to that point where I would be home when she came on. I figured she would be off the air and retired before I made it. When Adalie was born 2 years and 2 months ago I finally got to sit home and watch her!!! I was sooo excited!! When I heard she was going to be announcing it on her show today I was sooooo sad. I knew it would end someday and I really really didn't want it to. Now, I don't watch all of her shows, but most of them I do. I always get so excited for 4pm mountain time!! When I know I am going to miss it I make sure it is recorded!

Keep laughing....I don't care!

Colorado with G&G Vitorria

You may all remember the last time we tried to make this trip and that it was unsuccessful. Peanuts were not allowed on this time and we made it to our destination, Mosca, CO. It was such a fun trip!! We drove all day Monday and took a detour, actually we took a wrong turn which caused us to go 50 miles total out of the way. The trip should have only taken us 9 hours, but took us 10. Luckily we had a DVD player and Adalie was able to watch some movies to keep her occupied. At one point Adalie was unhappy and not listening to Nate and because he felt helpless in the front seat he threatened to take her nose. I laughed pretty hard, especially when Adalie freaked out that he would do such a thing. Once we arrived, G&G Vitorria had dinner waiting for us. The next day we just hung around the house all day which is my kind of vacation!! We played a lot of games which was a ton of fun. Grandma Vitorria made us lots of good food! Nate and I think we gained an extra pound or two from the trip. Wednesday we went to the Great Sand Dunes and then drove into Alamosa for some shopping. We came home and of course played some more games. Grandpa was being nice to everyone in the games and kept winning at the same time. We left early Thursday morning and drove all day with no detours, which was nice! G&G Vittoria live at the base of these mountains (bottom right)

I love these pictures of Hallie. She is such a happy baby!! She was so good on the trip. The far left pictures are of their backyard with some doe.

The Great Sand Dunes. It felt so good to walk barefoot!

Adalie loved Grandma's cookies as you can tell. Grandma also got out the Alligator for Adalie to ride and Adalie had to have Grandma ride it with her.

I wanted to add some pictures of my cute family
They are from left to right starting at the top:
Adalie went to bed with all her books one night
Precious Hallie
My cute husband and daughter Adalie bought me a BEAUTIFUL rose
Funny Adalie
Adalie went and gave her toys to Hallie
