Grandpa Frank & Grandma Londa

My dad and Londa came to visit for 5 days. It was great to see them again! While they were here we went to watch the girls play soccer (our life in the summer and spring). We also went apple picking. We picked SOOO many apples. We made caramel apples and dried a ton of them. Which really means turn a giant back of apples into a sandwich bag full.

It was so good to see them!

While they were here, my dad worked on some electrical things that we needed done. It was about 3 days of work. So glad he could do it for us! However, I had anticipated him hanging this chandelier for us. He never got the time so I insisted it still go up since mentally I was planning to have it hung while he was here. He gave us some basic instructions. Nate figured out what parts we needed and I youtube'd the process. We made a great team and had it hung in no time. We sent my dad this picture. He was really happy we were able to get it up! So was I! This light puts off SO much more light then the last one.

Hallie's First Cavs Game

Ever since Hallie walked passed the Quicken Loans Arena when at an Indian game in the summer, she had been begging to go to a Cavs game. It was going to be on her Christmas list, but luckily she didn't have to wait that long! Hallie was invited to go with our friends the Deans. It was a school night and Hallie got home around 10pm. What a lucky girl! She said she had so much fun and couldn't believe she saw Lebron James in person! She also loved getting snacks at the concession stands!

Cheerleading/Ron & Vickie

Ron and Vickie flew in for a visit just in time to see Hallie cheer at the OHS football game. I under estimated Hallie because she had so much fun! Adalie hated the year she did it, so I figured the same for Hallie.

We stayed busy as usual by attending the girls soccer games, went to Amish country, and went to a local Oktober Fest. It was a great time having them!

Ramseyer Farms

Every fall we sign up to be in the PTO so that we can come to Ramseyer Farms for FREE! Our kids have so much fun! There is a designated night for Orrville PTO families so it's perfect because all of their friends are there, which means my friends are there too! It's also not crowded and fairly warm out. Our kids look forward to this every year, as do we!

We only have a select few pictures of our girls because they kept running off with their friends.

These boys are hunks!

Akron Half Marathon

The night before the race there is a kids 1 mile fun run. The kids love to do this race. They come home with lots of loot. It's a big party and it's free!

 Stretching

We didn't think Nate was going to come, but he got off work just in time and raced his way to us and found us right as we were crossing the start line.

There was at least 1000 people there!

The kids did so well! Reid ran to whole thing and had little bursts of energy. Hallie had a hard time keeping up with him.

The next morning my mom and Gary came with me to watch me run. We got up SO early!

I have an addiction maybe?? They give such a sense of accomplishment. I really enjoy the race! I have many more in my future!

Ryan's birthday

This poor kid is definitely a 4th child. His birthday was overshadowed by EVERYTHING! We barely made a small celebration work.

He was so excited! He had watched his siblings for too long opening presents all month long. He knew exactly what to do!

I love this little man! He loves to take care of his babies

 The LAST birthday hooray.....school lunch!

Before we left to go somewhere, Ryan had to put all of his babies to bed

Adalie's Birthday

While we were in New Jersey we celebrated Adalie's birthday again and gave her some presents.

She got a new camera! (which has already been outdated by her ipod)

The kids had a lot of fun together!

The next morning we rented a boat (Adalie's actual birthday, so of course she thought this was all for her). It was a lot of fun! The kids really enjoyed it! We were very fortune to go because all weekend the forecast was calling for a hurricane that was coming from Florida. We were almost certain we wouldn't be able to go. We were happily wrong. Look at the blue sky!

 They had So. Much. Fun!
