Indians Game!

Every year Smuckers gives us 4 tickets (however they always let all 6 of us in) to attend a game. It's a fun event we always look forward to!

Our kids were determined to catch a ball!

It started raining so they covered the field and we had to wait for about 20 minutes

Luckily we found some covered seats for the remainder of the rain

We had heard about this "Kids Club" that was new and decided to go check it out! They LOVED it!

 They got to throw pitches

  Run to first base

The following week Nate was offered tickets that weren't being used. We were about 10 rows from home plate. It was pretty cool. It was a gated off section and there was only one other family there with a kid, yes one kid! We stood out ha! It's okay we had fun anyways!

Mommy and Reid

Reid and I have had a lot of alone time this summer. He often gets left behind when the girls go to play with the neighborhood kids and Ryan naps. Also, now that the girls are in school it's a lot of me and him.

I love eating on our back patio. It makes me laugh because the kids will be at the table eating lunch or breakfast and I will go outside to eat and within seconds my little litter will follow me.

The last month of school the girls planted a sunflower seed in a cup. One of them survived and we replanted it into the ground. It has been growing like CRAZY!!

 Good ol' buddies

Once again, breakfast on the patio!

Job Change!

Nate has been wanting to switch brands at work for a LONG time. If he had his choice it would be Jiff. He was networking etc and the timing of things was never right. Then a position opened up and Nate tried to apply, but his boss told him that they were hiring externally for the position because since the company is growing so much they needed more employees. Months went by and the position was never filled so Nate asked about it again and same story. Then, a few weeks ago they came to Nate and offered him the job! He has no idea it was coming! For FHE he decided to surprise us and handed out Jiff bars! Now he will be marketing All Jiff snacks and Smucker Natural Peanut Butter and a few other things. So happy for him!

Right about this time there was a "Bring your family to work day" which consists of dinner, dessert, and tours of the facility. We went with our good friends the Ellers and Adams

 The men

The women

End of July

The neighbor kids are always at our house and the popular thing is hoover boards......Hallie is obsessed and I don't care for them because they can be so dangerous! Right after this picture was taken Nate fell REALLY hard! Yikes! Luckily only a bad scrape on his elbow.

I love this boy. He was so serious here waiting just like this for Nate to take his picture.

We had some pull ups laying around and the kids thought it would be fun to all wear them....

Nate and I were inside one afternoon and we decided to be good parents and go look for our children who hadn't been inside for some time. We looked out and found these two moments. I love these big sisters and so do their brothers!

One Saturday night I went to go check on our kids as I was going to bed. I found that Reid had laid out his clothes. It was so sweet.

These boys LOVE to be mischievous together!

Woe is Me.

So I have been a mess lately, physically. I have been fighting some psoriasis. I've had it for about 10 years and it will come and go, but I can get on top of it pretty quick and it goes away. Well in June it flared up REALLY bad. I've never had it this bad. My prescription medication won't touch it anymore. The Dr. was basically no help. I've tried numerous things. I am now going the route of a food elimination diet. I'm starting with dairy. I've read countless forums where people claim they got off dairy and it went away. We shall see. I've been wanting to get off of it for some time now because I personally believe it is unhealthy anyways. Nate is a champ and decided to go off of it with me. I love cheese and ice cream, so this will suck! Finally, last week I was pulling weeds from my flower beds and 24 hours later came down with poison ivy! It's the worst I've ever had.
So this is day one, thinking, bummer this sucks....

Day 3 thinking wow this got really bad.....

 Day 5 HOLY CRAP!!

I have washed and washed everything I can thing of and my whole body in a poison ivy soap. I currently have it randomly on almost every part of my body! For some TMI, I am changing my band aids (so much oozing) every few hours because they are saturated. Everyone wants to me to go the doctor, but I don't see the point. I am keeping everything clean and covered. It just has to run it's coarse. Sadly I've had it before and know it takes patience.

On a much more serious and sad side note, Reid came down with a fever Saturday night and had one again in the afternoon on Sunday. He fell asleep on the ground in the living room and I looked over seeing he was waking up. He was acting strange with his hands in the air. I went over to him only to find him having a seizure. It was a different form of seizure than I had seen before. He was having an absent seizure and was basically in la la land. It made me nervous, but I was preparing for one that day since his fever got up to 103.2 The girls ran and got Nate for me. Nate came down just as it was getting over. He was dazed and in a child like state for about 10 minutes. He looked like he wanted to talk but couldn't. He just sat starring at us and looked like he was trying to answer us. He eventually snapped out of it. I really hope this is not our future and he grows out of it!

Mid-Summer Fun!

As usual we are staying busy through out the summer!
Poor Reid fell out of his bed in the middle of the night and woke up with a fat lip. I'm glad nothing was broken!

We took a hike at the Wilderness Center on a Saturday afternoon.

Cheeser!

For the 4th of July we went to a BBQ at a neighbors house and then came home to watch the fireworks. I love that we can see them from our house!

The next day (Monday) Nate had work off so we went to a friend's parent's lake house and partied with them all day. The kids has SO much fun! We ate lots of food, the kids fished, canoed, and did some boating (not pictured)!

Reid got to go out on the canoe. He had SO much fun!

While Nate had the girls out on the canoe, Reid shot water balls at them.

Ryan thoroughly enjoyed himself!

Adalie finally caught a fish!

That night Nate agreed to sleep on the trampoline with the 3 big kids. He didn't sleep at all that night due to Hallie's sleep talking and Reid's random cries through the night. He recorded lots of it and we listened and laughed the next morning.

I was picking up some zucchini from a friend and later went to get it out of the car and couldn't find it. One of the kids buckled it up to keep it safe.

Brother Gray from our ward played long and hard with the kids on the trampoline

These boys were having a love fest so I had to capture it!

My heart is bursting!

The boys thought this was funny

Then Reid decided to take a few selfies of his own

Water, swimsuits, and the trampoline......you can't go wrong with that!

I love this kids smile!

I was at Yoga and when I came out I wasn't sure where my kids were, finally found them getting a workout in. They are begging to go back!

We went to a neighbors house for a BBQ. I couldn't help but look at this little family of mine and be so grateful I get to be apart of their lives!

My friend Laura and I went to the temple while our husbands took the kids to the stake center next door. Nate sent me this photo!

All done at the temple, getting ready to go eat!

My BFF moved to Columbus so since we were down there they met up with us and some members of our ward for lunch and ice cream. It was a fantastic day!

Reid got to be with his Parker! He loves this boy so much!

Ryan loves Megan. They are about 3 months apart and Ryan gets so excited to see Megan.

Reid is preparing to go on a mission! He tells the missionaries that he is going to be just like them and serve a mission. I really really hope that is the case!

Too cool for school!

We had a ward (more like moms with children) park lunch. Laura is creative and did games with the kids. They had so much fun!

Our friends have a gorgeous pool and we live there as much as we can during the week. The water temperature was awesome this day and it was such a great day all around!

Ryan's FAVORITE thing is to play in the car. Nate was changing the oil in the garage so it only made sense to allow Ryan to play in the car while this was taking place. He was in HEAVEN!

Another friend (I swear everyone has a pool here) has a pool and invited us over for dinner and swimming. Ryan decided he was going to jump off the diving board. I told Nate he had to be in charge of this because I don't trust me. I stood back and took pictures (as usual) I love both of these pictures back to back. This was Ryan's first time jumping off the diving board. We weren't sure what to expect.
As you can see Nate had to jump in after him. Luckily Ryan came right back to the top.

Adalie, Hallie, and Caitlyn

My sweet Ryan loved to hold my hand when I put him to sleep. I love it and it's so sweet!
