San Diego

Last weekend my Mom, Aunt Julie, and Hallie all flew to San Diego for 4 days 3 nights to meet up with my cousin Ashley who lives there. Right after we landed we drove straight to Petco Field to watch the Padres play the Braves. We had great seats and actually made it on TV many times. Gary, my Step-Dad recorded the game for us so we could watch. Every time there was a left handed batter and the camera showed a shot of his face we were in the back ground! After the game we went out to eat to a really good restaurant called BJ's

Ashley, Hallie and Bryant

If you know my mom you know that she LOVES Mitt Romney! Ashley googled his $12 million beach house and off we went. We parked down the street and walked up to his gate.
Because there were three houses behind this gate we were not sure which one was his, so I am not sure if we ever decided that this was his.

This was Mitt's neighbor ...Not sure if you can read the bumper sticker (Obama/Biden)

Right behind his house on the beach

Love from my Mom

After the stalking we headed out to eat at another great restaurant but on the way we stopped by this beach where sea lions have kind of taken over. (You can see them behind Ashley...it looks deceiving, but they are alive)
Next stop: Old Town. It was a cute little area with little shops. Of course we had to get some candy at 'Cousin's Candy Shop'

That night we went on a dinner cruise around the Harbor. This was our ship.

I loved this picture of the sunset!

About to set sail.

We had the best seats on the cruise!

Great shots from the cruise.

The next morning we took it easy and went down to Mission Beach for some shopping and food.

Sunday morning before our flight we went to Coronado for some brunch on the beach.

Great view for Brunch!

That looks like a blast!! How fun. Mitt was in my parent's ward in Park City when he was in charge of the Olympics. He was the gospel doctrine teacher. Weird huh!?
